and Jane Suggit, treasurer, with Harley-Davidson Fundraisers.
The Kidney Patients Association was presented with £400-00

Members of the Offshore Riders Club decided to support the association as one of its members had a kidney
transplant in Portsmouth in Febuary 1997.

for the association was one way of saying thank you"
Other club members organised the fundraising and the money was raised by raffles in St Thomas's Square,
Newport, Isle of Wight, the Offshore Riders first rally held at Ventnor Rugby Club in June and donations.
Local businesses were very supportive of the fund raising, much of which was carried out in St Thomas's
Square where the bikes were on display.
A member said, "it's nice to be able to support such a good cause and we'd like to say thank you to everyone
who helped raise the money and has supported us".
The cheque was presented to Kidney Patients Association treasurer Jane Suggit at the Cedars Hotel in Wootton,

The money will be used to update the dialysis machine at St Mary's Hospital, Newport and Mrs Suggit said,
"it's great to have people who have had transplants giving us such support. We are very greatful
to the group for all it's efforts and support".
