Friday night and the club was rocking to local 60's guitar band F.B.I who were well recieved giving people
the opportunity to do some jiving. (My Dad told me that this sort of thing used to be very popular)

THE "CHARITY CUSTOM BIKE SHOW"
A ride out of Harleys on Saturday was well attended, taking in the coast line and villages to the South and then on to the West of the Island finishing up at the Riverside Center, Newport for the Charity Custom Bike Show. After being fed and watered many of the rally goers voted and trophies were awarded for ,"Best Sportster", "Best Modern Harley", "Best Classic Harley" and "Best Vintage Harley".

The "Charity Axe Throwing"
A Charity Axe Throwing Contest was held on site, together with a raffle which raised a total of £200.
This was donated to the; "Earl Mountbatten Hospice" a well known Island charity.

The "Bungee Drinking"
A few field games were played in the afternoon including bungee drinking and grass ski racing.
On Saturday night the music was provided by the Blues M.D.'s and the beers flowed to the early hours of the morning. If anyone is interested in attending similar events in the future or find out more on how to join the HARLEY DAVIDSON RIDERS CLUB of GREAT BRITAIN.
